| Ceramic provides a
physical barrier to trap and eliminate parasites (like
cryptosporidium and giardia), dirt rust and sediment and
turbidity. A minute amount of non leachable silver is
baked into the ceramic to inhibit bacteria from growing in
the filter. The ceramic can be lightly brushed off to
remove surface sediment ot restore the flow of water. |

High density
activated block carbon reduces chlorine, chemicals, bad
taste, odor and many other toxic contaminants.
